Brynje Super Thermo mesh shirt with inlay. Solid inlay fabric on shoulders for protection when using medium to heavy backpack. Lightweight, super efficient moisture transport capability, insulates and dries better than anything. To maximise capabilities, use in conjunction with another top with a zip to vent, such as a cycling top or another Brynje product. This allows you to “dump” heat when you start to get too warm.

The secret to the high performance of Brynje mesh clothing is that it draws excess moisture away from the skin while maintaining a warm regulated cushion of air next to the body. With conventional solid knit underwear the perspiration cannot escape quickly enough through the fabric so the fabric next to your skin becomes sodden and you quickly become cold. With the Brynje Super Thermo the air pockets in between the mesh allow the body to “breathe” more easily and naturally, while maintaining the trapped air for insulation. NEW -The Nava series of highly wickable next-to-skin layers are a new addition to the Mountain Equipment lightweight collection, designed specifically for long, demanding days in the high mountains.

We highly recommend as a layer to be worn over Brynje Mesh in early Spring, late Autumn and into winter.

In warmer season, it can be worn as a stand-alone layer.

Using a 125 gram Bluesign approved Polyester fabric and HeiQ Fresh odour neutralising technology, the Nava series are the perfect layers for those speedily negotiating knife edge ridges and racing down endless sweeps of scree.

HeiQ Fresh uses a compound derived from sugar to attack the odour creating molecules themselves and being a by-product of the food industry, it is Bluesign approved and is one of the least harmful approaches to odour control that there is.

A slim fit is combined with a purposefully athletic and functional design – one which includes no side seams for greater next-to-skin comfort, a dropped rear hem and subtle reflective print detailing.

The tighter knit of the mesh allows better ventilation for the skin, while allowing air to be trapped against the skin if worn with another garment over it.

The mesh is also thinner than it's Super Thermo brother making it extremely light weight and packable. Needless to say it still provides excellent warmth next to the skin.
The Super Micro can be used for a variety of activities, and is proving a popular choice for people who don’t quite know what the day will bring! Popular with cyclist worn under the cycling shirt in summer or spring. Runners also can benefit from it's properties since it can be worn as a single layer. To maximise capabilities, use in conjunction with another top with a zip to vent, such as a cycling top or another Brynje product.


If your are in between sizes, go for the larger one as some shrinkage does occur after a few washes.
